< Back to Previous Page Car vs. Semi Crash on Reagan Memorial Tollway in Illinois Naperville, Illinois - Three to four eastbound lanes of Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) were closed for approximately two hours after a tanker truck crashed early September 2008. Police proceeded to investigate the crash and once the accident was cleared from the scene, the Reagan Memorial Tollway eastbound lanes reopened. Police radio dispatch indicated that a crash involving a tanker truck occurred at around 3:30 pm between Naperville Road and Yackley Avenue on Reagan Memorial Tollway. Another car was involved in the accident yet no details of either drivers were given to the public thus far. The car involved sustained major damage. No statements have been made yet, regarding negligence of either driver. Although, The Illinois State Police (Tollway District) have stated that injuries were present yet no injuries acquired were life threatening.
