< Back to Previous Page Overturned Tractor-Trailer in DeSoto Parish A sudden lane change of truck driver Steven R. Cason, caused his saltwater truck to overturn on Interstate 49. Louisiana State Police were conducting a speed enforcement detail at the time when the rig overturned. The sudden movement of the tractor-trailer from the outside lane to the inside lane caused the rig to overturn. Truck driver Steven R. Cason was unharmed but was cited with careless operation. Fortunately, no other drivers on the road were harmed or involved in the truck driver's careless lane change.
